SERVICES

  • Translation from English into Spanish  - As a professional translator I only work into my native language and only within my specialist areas. One cannot produce an error-free translation if one does not live and "breathe" the language and culture of the target language every day.
  • Proofreading - I can proofread documents already translated into Spanish and check for completeness,  layout and typographical and grammatical errors.
  • Editing - I can edit Spanish texts to check for quality, accuracy, structure, flow and adherence to stylistic parameters
  • Quality assurance - I use SDL Trados 2022 to verify errors in numbers, dates and measurements, extra dots and spaces, inconsistencies in punctuation, untranslated sentences, and many other parameters.
  • Machine translation - A useful tool in some cases, but not (yet) a replacement for top professional translators. Unless requested by the client, I don't use machine translation in my work.
  • Hardware - I have multiple work stations fully prepped with all the necessary software for cases of emergency. I also use cloud storage services to ensure no work is lost due to unexpected circumstances.
  • Easily reachable - I strive to be online all the time, no matter where I might be. I combine multiple Internet connections with a number of computers and electronic devices to answer clients’ needs and requests in a timely fashion.
  • Deadlines vs. Quality - Neither one should be compromised for the other. I do my utmost to never miss a deadline, and clients keep coming back because of the high quality of my work. Once I have agreed to a deadline, clients can rest assured I will meet it. See comments from satisfied clients here.
